Technology Services.411
An overview of MACC technology services including: hardware, data source
providers, maintenance plans, MARS, and polling, will be provided by the
Technology Services department.
Billing Operations.411
Steve Wolff will discuss several topics related to the end user billing
process. The drop insert process will be reviewed from how the
information gets to MACC to how the inserts get into the envelopes.
Steve will also preview new postage and billing reports that will soon
be available on the Client Pages on MACC’s website.
Finally, we will review the various quality control steps in place
during the end user billing process.
CABS.411
Members of the CABS team will provide overview of various CABS services
and products. Some of the topics that will be covered include a new tool
for handling past due balances and late penalties, AccessMart reporting,
Accounting Master/CABS interface, and CABS DataMaster reports.
Marketing Fiber-to-the-Home.411
If the launch of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) is in your company’s plans,
this is a can’t-miss session. You’ll hear ideas on communicating with
customers during the roll-out, marketing the new service, and lessons
from other MACC clients who’ve implemented fiber in their service
territories.
Management’s Analysis of Financial Statements During Tough
Economic Times
Charley Albert, CPA/Shareholder from Curtis Blakely and Co, CPAs will
discuss which financial items management should consider when
determining the current and future financial positions of a telephone
company. Discussions will include utilizing tools such as forecasting,
ratio analysis, and trend analysis. Tips will include examples of items
to include in the management reports, minimizing risks, and suggestions
for increasing your company’s productivity.
